Technical Information

1
What is the water-repellent property of the component?
These trousers have water repellent areas (shins, buttocks) that prevent water from entering the fabric. Please note, this does not mean WATERPROOF. The water repellent property prevents the trousers from getting wet too fast and slows down the water ingress but will not keep you dry under steady rain. To do this, we recommend to wear over-trousers, ref 8504646. Water repellence can be reactivated by tumble drying the trousers for 10 min on low temperature

WHY A V2 (VERSION 2) OF OUR ICONIC TREK 500 TROUSERS?
The Trek 500 trousers have been improved. The objective is first of all to reduce the environmental impact of our trousers (see details below) Then, your feedback has helped us improve the functionalities. Thanks for sharing! - switching of left and right pockets for better smartphone carrying - use of more durable COATS thread for assemblies - double stitching on the back of the crotch for better durability
3
ECO-DESIGN: WHICH IMPROVEMENTS HAVE WE MADE?
The dyeing of the components requires a lot of water and also produces waste water. To reduce this environmental impact, we used for the fabric of the reinforcements of our black trousers, a process of mass dyeing called "dope dyed" which integrates the colour pigments during the manufacture of the yarn and avoids dye baths. This process allows us to reduce the CO2 emissions of the trousers by 12%.
4
Accessories:
2 hand pockets that zip downwards. 1 zipped right thigh pocket 1 left thigh pocket with flap and 1 inner smartphone compartment. Supplied with a belt.
5
Hand pocket opening:
We have deliberately designed the sealing direction of the hand pockets as downwards. The zip cursor will not get in your way when you tighten your rucksack's waistband and your belongings will remain safe in your pockets!
6
Which size should I choose?
Fitted cut and use of stretch fabric in the right areas guarantees high comfort levels when moving around. Choose your usual size. Inside leg length of 80.9 cm in size 10 (M) Width at the bottom of the trousers: 19.7 cm in size 10 (M).
7
Hybrid structure
Trousers designed with 2 different components: - a durable fabric (207 g/sqm) on areas that need protection from rubbing (buttocks, bottom of the leg at the front). This fabric is also stretchy, enabling great freedom of movement. It has a water repellent treatment. - a lightweight, breathable fabric (150 g/m2) on the rest of the trousers.
