Technical Information

1
THERMAL INSULATION
Duck down containing 90% down and 10% feather with a fill power of 700 Cuin (IDFB standard). The jacket's assembly has 3D partitioning. *Duck down traceability ensured by the “Responsible Down Standard” certification. This allows us to guarantee that our down comes from ducks raised for their meat, that were neither force-fed nor plucked alive: https://responsibledown.org/
2
TEMPERATURE RATING USE
Our jackets are lab-tested in a climatic chamber to establish the temperature ratings. For moderate activity in a 5 km/h wind, this jacket is suitable for temperatures down to -29°C.
3
Pockets and bags
This jacket contains: - 2 outer hand-warmer pockets. This jacket can be folded down into the right-hand pocket to reduce the amount of space it takes up in your backpack - 2 outer chest pockets, accessible when wearing a harness + 1 pocket on the inside of the jacket into which you can slide a phone. - 2 mesh pockets inside the jacket to keep a spare pair of gloves warm or for a flask.
4
HOOD
Down hood designed for wearing over your mountaineering helmet, adjustable with 2 systems at the front and back of the jacket.
5
REINFORCED FOREARMS
Durable component has been selected to reinforce the jacket's forearms. Indeed, when mountaineering, these areas are subject to significant stress. The component selected is more robust than the main component of the jacket.
6
A score to compare the environmental impact of products
The environmental impact of the product is calculated over its entire life cycle using different indicators. An overall score (ABCDE) is attributed to help you easily identify the products with the best environmental performance by comparing products of the same type with one another (t-shirts, trousers, backpacks, etc.). Decathlon has voluntarily opted to apply this environmental labelling scheme. For more information, visit: http://sustainability.decathlon.com/

Washing guidelines
Machine-wash your duvet jacket on its own at 30°C and with 5 or 6 tennis balls. Wring out / spin as little as possible. Next, dry it in the tumble-dryer with the same number of balls. If you follow these recommendations, your jacket will come out as voluminous as it went in. More information is available via the following link: Decathlon Website
