Technical Information

1
Usage temperature:
We display the "comfort temperatures" on all our sleeping bags, tested by an independent laboratory (AITEX) in compliance with European standard EN 13537 of 11/04/2002. The "comfort temperature" is the lower comfort limit at which a user in relaxed position is in overall thermal balance and is neither hot nor cold (determined for an average woman in normal conditions of use). Choose your sleeping bag according to this criterion.
2
However, this is what you need to know about temperatures:
A sleeping bag does not produce heat but retains the heat produced by the body. If you are tired and cold and you slip inside a cold, damp sleeping bag, it is very likely that you will feel cold no matter how good your sleeping bag is! These temperatures therefore depend on the person's resistance to cold (bulk, fatigue, etc.), equipment (mattress with insulation, etc.), clothing (naked, underwear, etc.) and weather conditions (humidity, wind, etc.).
3
Specifics for kids:
The higher the volume of air to heat, the more energy the body will use to keep warm and the more risk there is of getting cold during the night. Choose a sleeping bag that’s ADAPTED TO YOUR CHILD'S SIZE. Similarly, your child will lose most heat through their head. In cold weather, you can put a hat on them.

Why is the inside of my product grey?
Bi-ton technology dyes one thread in every two. Dyeing has an environmental water impact (consumption & pollution). We only dye one thread out of every two to reduce the environmental impact.

Product test
It’s in France, at the foot of Mont Blanc, that our design team conceives, creates and designs the Quechua products. We test them in the field with other campers to make sure that they are comfortable and durable. Brittany, Corsica... We go to as many places as possible, in all weather conditions. Great conditions for discussion, which is precious to gain your feedback and plan our new products!

Stockage tips
Easily store your bag away by putting it loose in its cover. To keep it fluffed up and ensure good thermal performance, remove from its cover, extend and store it in a dry place.
