Technical Information

1
Advice to maximise the performance of your isothermal bottle.
Fill the bottle with boiling water for 5 minutes. Then replace the water with your beverage. Close bottle. The fuller the flask, the better it is at keeping the contents hot or cold.
2
Functions
Partially unscrew the cap to easily pour the liquid and avoid fully opening the cap which reduces the isothermal performance. The included beaker screws onto the bottle making it easy to carry.
3
Care tips
Wash by hand then rinse with clear water and let to dry with the cap open. The bottle may be placed in the dishwasher, however the cap and beaker may not be placed in the dishwasher.
4
First use
Rinse the entire product 3 times with clear water before using for the first time.
5

Our environmental approach (1/2)
Because we are aware that we must act to preserve our playground, Quechua is committed to limiting the environmental impact of its products. We have chosen an extremely resistant material for this flask (18/8 stainless steel), easy to recycle with recognised durability and food safety. We don't use any inner or outer coatings. The product is also guaranteed 5 in normal use conditions.
8
Our environmental approach (2/2)
We also selected: - Solvent-free laser engraved branding. - Solvent-free paint (powder coating) to give texture to reduce condensation and improve grip. - Maximum reduction in packaging and transport packaging. - Factory manufacture using 100% renewable energy.

Don't throw away, repair
Our products will join you on your mountain walks. As you gradually progress, they will age, certain parts can get worn, broken or lost. To help repair your flasks, our tops are available separately. Our environmental approach at Quechua also supports making these parts available to you.

Test
To meet your requirements, Quechua products are tested in the mountains in conditions you will encounter during your hikes. Our teams, as well as a tester panel (made up of partners, ambassadors and customers), test products throughout their development until they go to market.

Product test
Our isothermal products are tested using the same protocol: Water at 95°C is placed in the product, which is then closed. We then measure the temperature drop of the water after 6, 12 and 24 hours.

Stockage tips
